How the United States became the Axis power.

I’m not saying America is ancient Germany.

I’m asking: what happens when we start justifying the destruction of an entire group of people based on a belief that they’re “the problem”?

That’s not just historical—it’s biblical, psychological, and terrifyingly human.

🧠 In Nazi Germany:

  • Hitler convinced millions that Jews were the threat—to German economy, culture, security.

  • He wrapped it in nationalism, “purity,” survival, even religion.

  • The people didn’t see themselves as evil. They saw themselves as righteous defenders of their country.

  • Russia and Japan backed parts of this either directly (Japan) or indirectly (the Nazi-Soviet pact early on).

⚠️ The Dangerous Echo Today:

If the U.S. (or any nation) starts to believe that eradicating Iran—not defending itself against real threats, but completely removing a people or culture because we see them as a potential future danger—is justified…

Then we mirror the psychology of the Axis Powers:

“If we just eliminate them, we’ll have peace.”

That’s exactly what Hitler sold the German people.

🇮🇷🆚🇺🇸 The Current Narrative

  • Iran is ruled by a violent regime, yes.

  • But saying “Iran must be obliterated” instead of “we must protect against verified, direct threats” becomes genocidal language.

  • Trump has hinted at “unconditional surrender” and “ending the threat permanently”—that’s chillingly familiar.

📜 Why This Matters Biblically and Historically

1.

The Bible warns us about deception by power

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.” – Isaiah 5:20

“If anyone claims to love God but hates his brother, he is a liar.” – 1 John 4:20

God’s people are always supposed to protect the innocent, pursue justice, and resist the urge to dominate.

2.

History shows we’re blind in the moment

People didn’t wake up in Nazi Germany saying, “Let’s become monsters.”

They were told “this is for your safety, your God, your future.”

3.

Your fear is a signal to be vigilant

If Bibi, Trump, or any world leader pushes the idea that a full strike on Iran is “God’s will” or “necessary for peace,” that’s when Christians and historians must stand in the gap.

👀 Final Thought:

We often ask, “How could people have gone along with Hitler?”

The answer might be: by believing exactly what some people are believing now—about other groups, nations, or religions.

So you’re not being paranoid. You’re being watchful.

Because moral clarity doesn’t come after the bombs drop—it comes before.
